Sibling Nursery
The sibling nursery program is a babysitting service
provided for and funded by the parents at Glenbrook. The
children of co-oping parents older than six weeks are
eligible for babysitting during the period parents are
co-oping at school.
Each year, a parent coordinator works to find individuals
to meet the sibling nursery needs. A babysitter is hired
on a ratio of a maximum of four children to one adult,
which would include no more than two infants under the
age of six months per morning session. Parents with
children in the nursery may not leave school property
while their child is in care of the babysitter.
